Cambodia Fishery Statistics

The Department of Planning, Finance and International Cooperation (DPFIC) of the Fisheries Administration is responsible for collating and publishing fisheries statistics. The Fisheries Administration of the Cantonments (FiAC) collect and report statistics through FishStat, part of the FiA Fisheries Information Management System (FIMS), developed by FiA, which form the basis for the national statistics.

Since 2023, FiA has embraced fully digital data reporting, processing and analysis for routine statistical data, submitted by FiAC using KoBoToolbox, which is used as the basis for preparing annual Fisheries Statistical reports. Based on experiences over the past 2 years, further adjustments are made to facilitate data entry, analysis and reporting.
